A weather system moving into the region will bring widespread showers Saturday through Sunday morning, with rainfall totals expected to reach over an inch in the Lehigh Valley.
Cooler temperatures looks to stay in place throughout most of the week as well, with temperatures right around or below average. The drought monitor continues to reflect our dry pattern. Severe drought covers almost our entire viewing area. Extreme drought is closing in on southside communities.
Winds will be slightly breezy out of the west northwest keeping temperatures cooler in the low 60s. Expect a fairly dry day, with the possibility of a few stray showers moving across the stateline late in the evening.
Tonight into early Wednesday morning, a cold front pushes eastward across the KCBD/FOX34 viewing area. There’s a slight chance of a light sprinkle or drizzle early Wednesday morning under a cloudy sky. Most of the area will remain dry.
