The Texas Department of Public Safety is launching a week-long "Move Over or Slow Down" enforcement campaign starting April 6 to crack down on distracted driving and protect emergency personnel on the side of the road.
The effort comes as distracted driving caused tens of thousands of crashes and hundreds of deaths in a single year.
