The forever-cherished Harry Potter books were once adapted to films, the first three of which benefitting from John Williams — who composed those magical scores. But for the upcoming HBO series, a different Academy Award winner will provide the music — perhaps only fueling more excitement in terms of what new and unique elements can be brought to the small-screen endeavor.
